According to the Yomiuri Shimbun, there will
be approximately 6 million people in 2025 who are 65 or older without a car and
whose nearest fresh food store will be at least 500 meters from their home.
This is a very serious situation. If they
become sick or unable to walk, it is a matter of life. We need to consider
seriously this issues.
