LDP held an inner meeting concerning
Okinawa related budget yesterday. However, they did not invite Mr. Takeshi
Onaga, the governor of Okinama though he visited Tokyo and the schedule was
available. He could not meet the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and
Fisheries Mr. Koya Nishikawa too. As he could not visit PM Shinzo Abe the end
of last year, it is quite obvious that LDP and PM Shinzo Abe are very cold
against him.
I think it very ridiculous because it is
essentially different between meeting and hearing the opinions but not adopting
them and giving no chance to meet and hear. Can LDP say from now on that they
are listening to local voices?
I know LDP is irritated and disappointed
with the result of the previous governors election. Mr. Onaga were clearly against
on the relocation of Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, which contradict the LDP
and PM Abe’s idea.
I wonder how Okinawa people react to the
attitude.
