Koya Nishikawa, Minister of Agriculture,
Forestry and Fisheries expressed resignation yesterday. He received a donation
from sugar industry related company, which is accused for a circumvention of
the political funds control act.
As sugar is one of the major sensitive
items of the TPP negotiation, this incident is extremely inappropriate and his
resignation is a matter of course. PM Abe’s responsibility for his assign
should be also condemned.
